The Regrettes has just released their energetic new track, “California Friends,” to add to the plethora of explosive new music coming out this week. This track follows on the heels of a eventful festival season for the LA-based punk rock band, which included stunning high-energy performances at Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Firefly, and the Reading and Leeds Festival.

Labeled as a must-see act by festival goers and music critics, The Regrettes live up to the acclaim with this new single. Channeling ‘50s and ‘60s surf punk tinged with a ‘90s Riot Grrrl influence, “California Friends” is the perfect song to head-bang to as the summer comes to an end.

The Regrettes released their Attention Seeker EP earlier this year and are currently working on their next full-length studio album for release in 2019. They will be continuing their year on the road as they join Welles and Mickey James on Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour.
